MEXICO: Worries mount about monetary policy

The general consensus that the Banco de México will start to loosen monetary policy, perhaps as soon as tomorrow, is changing. Independent economists are fretting that inflation is starting to rumble again, as the peso weakens. The consensus forecast for inflation this year is now 3.7% to 3.8%, a bit above the official target of 3%.
