The Algerian state energy company, Sonatrach has agreed to buy a 10% stake in the development and transport consortiums of the Camisea natural gas project from Argentina's Pluspetrol for an undisclosed price. The transport consortium is constructing two pipelines: one stretching 716km from Camisea to Lima to transport the natural gas and the other, 530km long, to carry natural gas condensates to Pisco.
