NICARAGUA: Liberal International adopts Montealegre
The Liberal International (LI) has retroactively sort of endorsed a stance taken by its vice-president, Werner Hoyer, by announcing on 21 September that five days earlier its political bureau had decided to recommend the acceptance of the Alianza Liberal Nicaragüense (ALN) as an observer, with a view to incorporating it as a full member at a meeting of the LI executive committee to be held in Morocco on 9 November.
