CUBA: Guayaberas in Cartagena, but no Cuba

The former Cuban president Fidel Castro (1959-2008) lambasted both the US and Canada in his latest 8 April ‘Reflection’, challenging them to come off the fence over Argentina’s sovereignty claim over the Falklands/Malvinas Islands and tacitly accusing both governments of preventing Cuba’s presence at the Sixth Summit of the Americas, to be held under the auspices of the Organization of the American States (OAS), in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, on 14-15 April.
