In brief: Peru

Peru: The central bank (BCRP) reported that Peru’s exports increased by 21.7% year-on-year in value terms in the period from September 2016 to August 2017. According to the BCRP this increase was the highest of all Latin American economies during the period on figures from the World Trade Organization (WTO), with the regional average coming in at 10.3%.
