BRAZIL: Judiciary up in arms

Tensions between the judiciary and the legislature or the executive are not infrequent in Brazil. Nor are tensions between the judiciary and public prosecutors, who operate separately from the three branches of government as part of the Ministerio Público Federal (MPF). The country has witnessed displays of both over the past week.
