Could green jobs be the answer?

Under the government of President Jair Bolsonaro, it has been assumed that there is an irreconcilable tension between Brazil’s economic development and job creation on the one hand, and the need for environmental protection on the other. Yet a growing number of business lobbies and research groups are claiming that a ‘green’ economic recovery could actually create more jobs than a fossil fuel-based one.
