MEXICO: States divided on return to in-person education
On 3 January, many schools across Mexico reopened to in-person teaching after the Christmas break, following instruction from the education ministry (SEP). However, governments in 13 of Mexico’s 32 states postponed reopening amid rising coronavirus (Covid-19) cases.
