COLOMBIA: Paramilitaries call halt over extradition
One of the largest paramilitary organisations has announced that there will be no more `demobilisation' until the government guarantees that their fighters and leaders will not go to prison or be extradited to the US. The government has just submitted to congress a bill that envisages prison terms for some and does not bar extradition.
