In brief: Nicaragua’s inflation slows

*Nicaragua’s national institute of development information (Inide) has released a report showing that Nicaragua’s monthly inflation was 0.68% in November, down from 1.33% in October while year-on-year inflation in November was 11.38%, down from 12.16% in October. Inide highlights monthly rises in the categories of food & non-alcoholic drinks (+1.35%), culture & recreation (1.41%); and restaurants & hotels (0.30%) while alcoholic drinks was the only category to register a decline (-0.36%).
