BRAZIL: Police arrest new suspect in Marielle Franco murder
On 24 July Brazil’s minister of justice & public security, Flávio Dino, confirmed that a former fireman, Maxwell Corrêa, had been arrested for alleged involvement in the high-profile murder of Rio de Janeiro city councillor Marielle Franco and her driver Anderson Gomes in March 2018.
