CHILE: Glacial lake empties - again

The news was not so much that an Andean glacial lake appeared to have suddenly emptied, but that it had done so for the second time in only six months. This was being interpreted by many as a sign that extraordinarily high temperatures were becoming more frequent, threatening the survival of glaciers and glacial lakes in central-southern Chile.
