COLOMBIA: Compromise found with US over ICC

Colombia and the US have struck a deal over the International Criminal Court. After a year of discussions, it was agreed that Colombia could send US citizens to the ICC, but only with Washington's prior consent. The agreement was announced yesterday at the end of a meeting between the State Department and the Colombian foreign ministry in Bogotá. The US seems to have got its way with the new deal.
