COLOMBIA: Some Farc units ‘reject peace deal’

Not all of the fighting units of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) guerrillas will abide by an eventual peace agreement to come out of the negotiations with the government of President Juan Manuel Santos, currently under way in Havana, Cuba. That, at least, is the information picked up by the broadcasting station RCN La Radio from demobilised former Farc commanders, ‘reinserted’ former guerrillas and peasants from the areas under the influence of reportedly dissenting units.
