COLOMBIA-NICARAGUA: Managua asks ICJ to chastise Bogotá

In response to a new suit filed by Nicaragua before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the government of President Juan Manuel Santos has recalled Colombia’s ambassador to Nicaragua. Officials and legislators reacted angrily to Managua’s move, but the government opted for cooling the atmosphere until such time as the ICJ formally asked for explanations.
